William Rush

William (Bill) Freddy Rush was called home to his eternal rest and reward in Glory on Oct. 3,2023 after 5-year battle with cancer.

He was born on Nov. 27, 1939, in Maynard, Arkansas and passed from this earthly life at his home in Cleveland, TN surrounded by his loving family.

William is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 44 years Nancy Carol (Marcum) Rush; his brother, Elvis (Nancy) Rush of Taylorsville, GA; sister, Ellen (Jim) Farr; Children, Tara (Allison) Rush, Todd (Jenny) Rush, Tiffany (Samantha) Rush all of Dearborn Heights, MI.; stepchildren, Teresa Callahan, and Gregory Gubaci of Cleveland, TN., and John (Kendra) Gubaci of Calhoun, GA.; he also left behind many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Edyth Rush; sisters, Jerry Lou (Rush) Gray, and twin, Mary Francis (Rush) Drew; and his stepson, Dana Randall Gubaci.

Funeral services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the American Cancer Society or to Shriners Hospital.
