Tony Robert Smith

Tony Robert Smith, 79, of Sweetwater, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his home. He was born in Loudon County on April 26, 1943 to the late Warren and Margie Smith.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Polly Smith; and his brothers, Kyle Smith, and Danny Ray Smith.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Nicole (Brandon) Swafford; son, Robert (Shelby) Smith; grandchildren, Deven, Brett, and Abigail; three brothers, David (Martha) Smith, Edd (Linda) Smith, and Glen (Penny) Smith; his sister, Linda (Mark) Trollinger; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of life Service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens with Pastor Jerry Gaylon officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm prior to the service.
