In Loving Memory of Marty Mullis

Marty Mullis, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 59. Marty was a true Chattanoogan, and his life was marked by a deep love for his hometown and a passion for the things he held dear.

Marty's love for cars, especially Chevys, was unmistakable. He was a dedicated car enthusiast who could talk for hours about the intricate details of his favorite vehicles. His enthusiasm for NASCAR and drag races was infectious, and he eagerly followed the races.

Marty wasn't just a car enthusiast he also loved to fish. He was also known as a skilled mechanic. His talent for fixing things was legendary, earning him the nickname "Mr. Fix-It" among those who knew him. He approached every challenge with determination and a toolbox of solutions.

Marty was a believer in Jesus Christ.

Marty is survived by his wife Summer Amerine-Mullis. Children Allen, Dylan & Savanna Mullis. His is also survived by his sister Lisa McRae (Troy), inlaws Michael and Martha Hawn. And brother-in-law Nathaniel Amerine.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Peggy Mullis along with his brother Perry. Their memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved them.

A visitation in remembrance of Marty will be held on Saturday, September 16th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, Chattanooga Chapel. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life Service will take place at 4:00 PM at the same location, officiated by Pastor Kenny Green, City Lights Church.

Marty's legacy of love, kindness, and his passion for life will be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
