Kathleen "Kitty" Canary Entwisle, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully in Canton, GA, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on August 7, 1941, in Annapolis, MD, to Clarence and Leigh Canary, Kitty grew up surrounded by the warmth of a close-knit family.

Kitty's life was one of unwavering devotion to her family and her faith. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stan Entwisle, her brothers, Jim Canary, and her parents. Her legacy continues through her children, Sister Elena, Victoria Entwisle Skuza (Bob), Julie Rogers (Jay), and Ted Entwisle (Paige), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jared Rogers (Giliana), Tim Rogers (Ingrid), Andrew Rogers (Allie), Jenna Skuza, Jacob Skuza, Allie Skuza, and David Entwisle and her beloved great-grandchildren Hannah, Vivian, Harrison, Emalyn, Darcy, Lynyn, Noa Beth and Ella Mae. Kitty also held a special place in her heart for the many surrogate children who became like her own over the years.

Kitty's life was a testament to her belief that family was her greatest achievement. She was a mother not only to her own children but to the entire neighborhood. Her home was always bustling with life, filled with kids, dogs, ducklings, and a menagerie of other critters. She had an open-door policy, a "come one, come all" attitude that extended beyond her doorstep and into the community.
