Juanita Cranfield

November 10, 1941 — November 21, 2023

Juanita Faye Cranfield left peacefully for her eternal home on November 21, 2023. She is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior and reunited with her son, William "Eddie" Cranfield along with other loved ones she longed to see.

She was the daughter of the late Bill Earl and Ruby Maxine Coffey of Englewood TN. She was a graduate of Lenoir City High School and loved her years working at Athens Regional Medical Center where she retired.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 61 years, Oliver Cranfield. Also, her children Thomas & Dorothy Cranfield of Athens, TN, Ayana & Jordan Edmonson of Crestview, FL and daughter-in-love, Ella Cranfield of Harriman, TN. She adored her grandchildren, Lexie Cranfield, Rachel Ray, Daniel Clotfelter, Allison & McKenna Edmonson and wanted nothing more than to love and spoil them. She also leaves behind her sister Lorene Kurklu and brother Bill Coffey, along with other friends and family that will cherish her memory.

The family wants to thank their special friend, Sherry Maxwell and appreciates all the help she gave to them. Also, a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice that were wonderful and helped keep Juanita home where she desired to be. Special thanks to Lisa, Connie, Kyle, Jeremy, Erin, Tiffany and Keisha who were amazing in their care for Juanita and all the help to the family.

Family invites those that loved Juanita to join them on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Companion Funeral Home of Athens with visitation from 12pm to 2pm and service to follow with her beloved Pastor Woody Martin presiding.

You are encouraged to share a memory of Juanita and/or your personal condolences with her family by visiting her memorial webpage and guestbook at www.companionfunerals.com. Companion Funeral Home of Athens is honored to assist her family with these arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask you to consider donating to the funeral home for her final expenses.
