Dorothy Mae Eller, 65, of Cleveland passed away May 28, 2019. She was born in Columbus, GA and had been a resident of Cleveland for the past 36 years coming from Chattanooga. She loved going out to eat on the weekends and staying at home taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Motes and Lola Mae Harper; and a brother, James Jackson Motes.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Ray Eller, Jr. of Cleveland; daughters, Jennifer Mae Denton (Michael, Jr.) of Cleveland, Shannon Dee Graves (Tim) of loudon, and Brianna Eller of Cleveland; brothers, Curtis Motes of Columbus, GA, David Motes of West Columbia, SC, and Ray Motes of Columbus, GA; a sister, Louwanna York of West Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Abigail, Sierra, and Jacob; and a great granddaughter, Brooklyn.
The family will receive friends Friday May 31, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11am with burial to follow in Lee Cemetery.
