In Loving Memory of Donald Robert Crowder
April 19th, 1953 - June 19th, 2023
Donald (Bobby) Robert Crowder, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, peacefully went to be with the Lord on June 19th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. His unwavering faith in God and the strength he derived from his Christian beliefs sustained him throughout his journey.
Bobby was born on April 19th, 1953, to Dock and Johnnie Crowder. He was raised in a devout Christian home where he learned the values of love, compassion, and devotion. He now joins his parents and his nephew, Chris Roach, in the eternal embrace of the Lord.
Bobby is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Mary, whose unwavering support and love were the pillars of their enduring marriage. Together, they shared a bond founded on faith and deep mutual respect. He also is survived by his two sisters Laverne (Bill) Birchfield and Linda Crowder.
His legacy lives on through his children: Timothy and Sara Crowder, and Brad and Latosha Crowder. Bobby's love for his children was immeasurable, and his guidance shaped them into the compassionate and strong individuals they are today.
Bobby was also a proud grandfather to Dean (Summer) Crowder, Isaiah (Alexis) Crowder, Bradyn Crowder, and Jacob Crowder. His love and wisdom were gifts that he generously shared with each of them. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren, and also his great-grandchildren River Crowder and Grayson Crowder creating countless cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
Bobby leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Outside of his family, Bobby had a passion for riding horses and coon hunting. These hobbies brought him solace and allowed him to connect with nature, appreciating the beauty of God's creation.
At this time, no services have been arranged, but the family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and condolences during this difficult time.
Donald (Bobby) Robert Crowder will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His unwavering faith, kind heart, and gentle spirit will forever serve as an inspiration to those whose lives he touched. May he find eternal rest in the arms of our Lord, and may his legacy continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
