David Hancock

David Lynn Hancock, passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 67 in Cleveland, TN. He was born in Arcadia, FL on September 20, 1956, to his parents Junior Hancock and Jewell Kilgore Hancock, both of whom preceded him in death.

Dave was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Teresa Hancock. Together, they created a lifetime of cherished memories. He was a loving father to his children, Kristine Ball (Jordan) and Jonathan Hancock (Chelsea), and took great joy in seeing them grow and succeed in life. His grandson, Vincent Hernandez, brought him limitless pride and happiness.

When he wasn't busy with work, Dave enjoyed various hobbies such as fishing, cooking, watching his beloved Florida Gators play football, and indulging his creativity through woodworking. Above all, Dave treasured the time spent with his family, especially his grandson.

A celebration of Dave's life and accomplishments will be held on Sunday, January 7th. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for visitation from 12pm until 2pm at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A heartfelt Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2pm, where stories and memories will be shared to honor his legacy.
