Zully Amara Vasquez

Zully Amara Vasquez, 58, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2020 at her home. She was born on June 14, 1961 in Guatemala. She worked for many years as a teaching assistant in the McMinn County School System. She will be forever remembered and loved by all those that had the privilege of meeting her.
She is preceded in death by her father Cesar Valdez.
Zully leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Luis Vasquez, two sons J.P. Vasquez and Chris Vasquez, her mother Martha Rodriguez Valdez, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends and co-workers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM.
