Wilma Ann Green

Wilma Ann Green, 76, of Cleveland, TN passed away on September 3, 2020. She was born on November 5, 1943 in McMinn Co. to the late Milburn and Lena Liner. Wilma attended Allen Elementary School and Bradley High School. She worked for many years as a housekeeper and was also employed at Hardwick Clothes. Her greatest joy was being mother to her three boys. Wilma was an avid Lady Vols fan and had a smile that always lit up the room, she never met a stranger. Wilma was a member of Bellfounte Baptist Church and a past member of Samples Baptist Church. She also loved to keep her home neat and clean.
In addition to her mother and father she is preceded in death by her son Richard Lynn Green; siblings: Neal Liner, Reed Liner, Faye Liner Dill, Phillip Gene Liner, and Larry Liner.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 61 years, Richard Thomas Green; sons: Jeffrey Thomas Green (Freda) and Terry Wayne Green; grandchildren: Lucas Tyler Green (Brittany), Kacey Ann Green, and Colby Chase Green; siblings: Brian Liner (Shirley), Frank Liner, and Phyllis Dean Green (John). In addition to these she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends at Companion Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday September 9, 2020.
