William Edward "Eddie" Cranfield

William Edward “Eddie” Cranfield, 55, a lifelong resident of Athens, Tn passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his home. He was born on June 7, 1963. Eddie loved hunting, fishing and studying his Bible. He was a member of Victory Temple in Lenoir City.
Eddie leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 22 years Ella Thomas Cranfield, parents Oliver & Juanita Cranfield, son Daniel Clotfelter, daughter Rachel Ray and her husband J.R., one sister Ayana Kurklu, one brother Tommy Cranfield and wife Dorothy, three grandchildren, numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, May 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A service celebrating his life will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening with Pastor Woody Martin officiating.
The family will assemble at the funeral home on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 12:00 PM and proceed to the Cedar Grove Cemetery for the 1:00 PM interment and committal service. Pallbearers will include Frank Borun, Jimmy “Bear” Cody, Harold Monroe, Jonathan Cranfield, Dewayne Cranfield, Jr. “Daddy” McCowan, Dallas Genoe and James Hennessee.
