William "Bill" D. White

William “Bill” D. White, a well-known farm equipment mechanic in Bradley and surrounding counties passed away August 10, 2020 after a short illness. He was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church since 1960. Bill was the tenth child, out of fifteen born to William Jefferson and Ethel Lee Kelly White. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-three years, Louise Nichols White and Irene Newman White his wife of thirty-one years, one daughter, Judy White, one grandson Dennis Brian Tinsley and thirteen siblings. He is survived by his children, Jimmy White, wife Jean of Cleveland, Jerry White, wife Diana of Michigan and Joyce Tinsley, husband Sam of Cleveland, one sister Ruth Hicks of Michigan, two stepsons, Tony Newman and David Newman of Athens Tennessee. Seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends; Troy and Thelma Scoggins family. The family will receive friends in the parlor of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Rd. NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 5:00-8:00. A family graveside service will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with his grandsons serving as pallbearers.
