Obituary

Warren J. Demarest, 72, a resident of Rossville, Georgia passed away on September 9th, 2015 at his home. He was a former writer and photographer for the Courier Newspaper. He was the former owner of JRebs civil war gallery, and was known for hosting the Civil War Hour TV show on Channel 3. Warren had been involved in numerous archeological digs throughout the country regarding the civil war. He had also been instrumental in establishing the Tennessee Civil War Museum.

Warren is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Warren Demarest, and his sister Connie Fortenberry.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, three children, Debra, Michael, and Derrick, two sisters, Rita Lewis and Linda Lewis, as well as one brother, Terry Demarest.
