Waldemar "Wally" Szuggar

Obituary
Waldemar Wally Szuggar, 67, a resident of McDonald, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 21, 2015 .

Born in Germany, May 4, 1947 to Albert & Edith Suggar, he came to the United States in 1952.

He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the Army for 10 years and was honorably discharged in 1975.

After many travels in life, he settled in Kenosha, WI, where he met the love of his life and soul mate, Carol, whom he married on his birthday in 1985.

After retiring from Rustoleum in 2006, he and his wife moved to Tennessee to enjoy their golden years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Suggar, his mother, Edith Suggar, his wife Carol Szuggar, sister, Angelika Luken, brother, Harley Suggar and daughter, Sheila (Rick) Nelson.

Wally is survived by siblings, brother, Albert Suggar Jr, sister, Erika (Carlyle) Igo, sister Astrid (Dennis) Mayek, sister Loretta (Tom) Copeland. He is also survived by a son, Frank Rausch, daughter, Cindy Moss; grandchildren, Tyson Vaughn, Adam Moss, Charli Skinner, Joe Rausch, Carol Ann Moss, Maddie Roche and Tanner Roche; great-grand children, Hayden and Raylen Vaughn and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration of his life is planned for Thursday, March 26th, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday night in the chapel from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St Judes or the American Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
