Vyonne Gertrude Spaar

Vyonne Spaar, 87, died February 3, 2022 at Southern Haven Assisted Living in Dalton, GA where she was well cared for in her final years of Alzheimer’s. Born in Allentown, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward Spaar and late Emma Piff, and sister to the late Carole Sarmir all of Allentown. She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, attended Baum School of Art, and taught Ballroom Dance at the Allentown Woman’s Club. She later moved to Maine and had a successful career at Bath Iron Works. After retirement she spent more time pursuing her talent as an artist, as well as gardening at her home. She is survived by her daughter Victoria (Rossetti) Snowman and husband Herbert Snowman of Old Fort, TN. Also, three granddaughters: Cari Snowman of Old Fort, TN; SFC Mara Snowman-Manning and her husband SSG Robert Manning of Lacey, WA; Leah Snowman of New Orleans, LA. Also, one great-grandson Leo Alexander Manning of Lacey, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Cleveland, TN on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:00. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Allentown, PA on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 2:30.
