Vicki Lee Hamilton

Vicki Lee Hamilton, 67, a resident of Birchwood, TN went to her Heavenly home on Saturday night, September 1, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 16, 1950 to Jesse & Geneva (Brewer) Rich. Vicki was a member of the Birchwood Church of God. She worked for Pathway Press for 28 years. Vicki will be most remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Rich, and her daughter, Stephanie Johnson

Vicki leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband Kelly D. Hamilton, her mother, Geneva Brewer, seven children and their spouses: Andy Poole (Donna), Neil Hamilton (Laura), Sonya Jackson (Kevin), Troy Hamilton (Angie), Chris Poole, Matthew Hamilton (Brittney), and Cody Casteel (Mandy), eighteen grandchildren and their spouses, and six great grandchildren. Surviving also are aunts, an uncle, numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, September 5, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the parlor of Companion Funeral Home’s Cleveland chapel.

A celebration of her life is planned for Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Birchwood Church of God located at 5602 Bunker Hill Road in Birchwood, TN with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the 1:00 PM service time at the church.

Interment will follow at the McInturff Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers and plants, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice.
