Teena Paulette Hayes

Teena Paulette Hayes, 64, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on February 2nd, 2020. She was born on January 15, 1956 to the late James Jenkins and Agnes McCarroll. Teena was of the Baptist faith and attended New Bethel Baptist Church. She loved reading, music, nature, and was always very social.
In addition to her birth mother and father she is preceded in death by her grandparents Grady and Birdie Scealf, Helen & Felex Jenkins, and Jessi and Pete McCarroll; Sister Jimmie Jenkins; and daughter Crystal Chadwick.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her dad Donald McCarroll; her daughter Cristy Backus (Dan); siblings James Jenkins (Doris) and Becky Parker; three grandchildren Angel Backus, Tyler & Hunter Chadwick; two great grandchildren Brynn and Kyla; and nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Services for Teena will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Silverdale Baptist Church at Creekside Campus with Rev. Donald McCarroll to conduct the service. Visitation will be at 11:30, with services to follow at 12:00.
