Tara Lavonne Cofer Rievley

Tara Lavonne Cofer Rievley, 47 of Cleveland, TN received her ultimate healing and went to be with her Lord and Savior, at 9:20am on August 20, 2019.
Tara was born to Kenneth and Deborah Cofer on May 19, 1972 and met and married the love of her life, Mark Rievley on November 10, 1988. The Lord blessed Mark and Tara with four beautiful children, John Mark Rievley II(Whitney), Emily Rievley, Matthew Rievley (Hannah), and Joshua Rievley (Lily). She never failed to put her family above herself. Tara loved singing about her Lord with her sisters and she was a Leader in the Celebrate Recovery Program at South Cleveland Church of God. Above all Tara loved, being a Wife and Mother and Nonna as this was her greatest treasure on earth.
Beginning in 2018 the Lord began adding grandchildren for Tara to love. There was never a more devoted Nonna that ever lived. Malakai, Hudson, and Ezra were the apples of Tara’s eye and the reason she fought as hard as she did. Anyone who knew Tara couldn’t deny the unprecedented love she had for her family.
Along with a great devotion to her family, Tara loved the Lord. She used every opportunity she could to witness for Him. It was her true desire that everyone she met experience the saving grace of God. And she lived her life with that as her purpose. After a long hard fought battle that was fought to the very end she is now at home with Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Sammie and Geraldine Powers, Loyd and Lennie Cofer; sister, Kenna Ledford; father-in-law, Bill Rievley; nephew, Austin Cunningham; special daughter in love, Ashlyn Lamberth
In addition to her parents, husband, children and grandchildren she is survived by her sisters, Sharon Cofer Welch (Timothy), Rebekah Cofer Szpur (Sean), and Dana Cofer Gregory (Josh), mother-in-law Judith Rievley, sister-in-law Marsha Milam (Patrick), "6th Cofer Sister", Krissi Garner, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and several special friends.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00, Saturday August 24th 2019 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Rd. NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Rev. Patrick Milam and Rev. Toby Brogden officiating. The family will receive friends 4 hours prior to the service from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow the service at Cofer Cemetery in Georgetown, TN with the following serving as pallbearers; her 3 sons, John Mark, Matthew and Joshua Rievley, nephews, Terry Ledford, Brandon Szpur, Blake Trotter, Taylor Milam. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the family for medical and final expenses via this website or Southern Heritage Bank attn: Sharon Welch.
