Sydne T. Prentice

Obituary
Sydne T. Prentice, 71, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 in a local hospital. He was born on March 22nd, 1944 in Hayward, CA a son of the late James and Hazel Prentice. He and his family have made Cleveland their home for the past seventeen plus years. He worked for many years until his retirement as a fork lift operator. Sydne enjoyed working with antique autos and trading them.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Diana Prentice, three daughters Debbie McDonald, Robin Byrd (Phillip) and Dawn Hegwer (Todd), two sons Dennis Prentice and Robert Prentice (Judy), fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, April 4th, 2015 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with Pastor Michael Little officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in funeral home chapel on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time.
