Obituary

Steve L. Vaughn, 58, passed away on Saturday August 1, 2015 in a Cleveland hospital. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Alfred and Jewel Vaughn before eventually moving to Cleveland, Tennessee where he was a resident most of his life. Steve could always be found singing and picking guitars, watching TV, or taking care of his nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his both his brother, Larry Vaughn, and his sister, Barbara Gail Dixon.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory 3 brothers, David Vaughn, Terry (Jean) Vaughn, and Ronald (Kay) Vaughn, a sister, Kathy Vaughn, sister-in-law, Diane Vaughn, special nieces, Kristy and Amanda Vaughn and great-niece, Alexis Brown, and several nieces and nephews whom he raised like his own.

A celebration of life memorial service is planned for Thursday August 6, 2015 at 7:00pm in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, with Brother Guinn Green officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior from 6:00pm until the 7:00pm service time.
