Stacy Ryan Mahaffey

Stacy Ryan Mahaffey passed away Tuesday September 7th, 2021 at his home in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 25. He was employed by J. B. Hunt as a transportation manager. Ryan was born in Dallas, Texas on August 12th, 1996 to Pat and Callie Mahaffey. He leaves behind his sister Madison Mahaffey along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Maverick.

He graduated from Soddy Daisy High School in 2014. He played baseball at Cleveland State Community College before transferring to the University of Northwestern Ohio on a baseball scholarship and earned his business degree in 2018. He loved sports, cars, and flying. He recently earned his private pilot’s license and aspired to be a professional pilot.

Services will be held on September 25, 2021 at Saint Therese Catholic Church, 900 Clingan Ridge Dr, Cleveland Tennessee. Funeral mass is at 11:00 AM EDT and the Celebration of Life is at 12:00 noon in the parish hall. Friends and Family are invited to attend one or both of these services.

We kindly request that you wear a mask and social distance throughout the service. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for support for what Stacy loved. Donations to the Experimental Aircraft Association 890 Chapter in Fort Payne, Al in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
