Shorty Walter Huff

Walter “Shorty” Huff, 59, a lifelong resident of the Haletown area, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019, at his home. He was born on January 24, 1960, to the late Daniel and Becky Huff. He was a loving brother, son, father, and grandfather. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed building anything with his hands. He was a huge Alabama football fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Bobby Huff.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Stevie Smith, Brandy Ledesma, BJ Huff and Nathan Huff; siblings, Dan, Jr., Bobby Dean, BB McNabb, Joe Huff, and Faye McFalls; and several grandchildren.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
