Sherry Donna Boring

Sherry Donna Boring, 64, of McDonald, TN passed away on February 12, 2019 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 11, 1954 to the late Mark and Dora Boring. Sherry was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of First Baptist Church Cleveland. She loved the Lord and everyone she met, but especially loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her brother Dennis Boring; sister in law Shirley Boring; brothers in law Fred Wilkinson, Bill Wagoner, and Russell Kesley; nephews: Kris Boring, Michael Boring, and Adam Andrews.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory five sisters: Elizabeth Wagoner, Charlotte Kesley, Louise Wilkinson, Pamela Kliner (Wes), and Shelia Boring; brothers: Norman Boring (Ruth), Thomas Boring (Rita), Calvin Boring (Doris) and Marcus “Eddie” Boring, David Boring, Wendell Boring (Karen); sister in law Margaret Boring. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. A special thanks would like to be given to Sheila Boring who gave tremendous care for the past two years and Tameka and Janice at Pace for their care.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday February 15, 2019 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 7:00pm. A graveside service will take place at 3:00pm on Saturday February 16, 2019 at Happy Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Blount County. A brief visitation will take place from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Happy Valley Baptist Church on Saturday.
