Shelia Mae Gibson

Shelia Mae Gibson, 66, a life-long resident of McMinn County, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at a Cleveland health care facility. Shelia enjoyed crocheting, making crafts and angels, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Shelia is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Joe and Oneda Mae Malone, and mother and father-in-law, Van Gordon and Zelda Mae Gibson.
Left to cherish her memory, husband, Gary Gibson, two sons, Greg Gibson and Garren Gibson, one daughter, Sandra Frazier;two brothers, Bob (Rose) Malone and Danny Malone, two sisters, Shirley (Harry) Gregory and Margaret Cornett. Her six grandchildren, Geoffrey Gibson, Johnathon Butler, Geami Gibson, Jacklin Buis, Garren Gibson, and Shayla Frazier, and three great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-laws, Karen (Tony) Baker and Judy (Larry) Gibby. Several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends also survive.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 2:00 until 4:00 at Companion Funeral Home in Athens, located at 400 S. White Street Athens, TN 37303.
