Shawn Wesley Allen Burkhart

Shawn Wesley Allen Burkhart, 31, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away July 29, 2022 He was born on July 27, 1991 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to James and Donna (Caldwell) Burkhart. Shawn was of the Christian Faith and attended Glory Road Baptist Church. Shawn enjoyed fishing, wood working and building things, playing pool, but more than anything he enjoyed spending time with his babies and doing crafts with them and teaching them new things and teaching them important values.

Shawn was preceded in death by God Father- Kenneth Smith, adopted parents Donna & James Burkhart

Shawn is survived by his loving wife Anna Burkhart, his children Alexis, Landon, Nevaeh and Alaina.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be; So, he put his arms around you and whispered "Come with Me." With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away. Although we LOVED YOU DEARLY, we could not make you stay. Your GOLDEN HEART stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the Best.

He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses- Summer & Stenen, Samuel, Stevie & Josh, and Zack & Jessica, God Mother-Phyllis Smith, Biological Mother- Renee, Biological Grandmother-Granny Sue and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Many will cherish the memory of his life now at his passing. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31 NKJV)
