Shawn Eric Jones

Shawn Eric Jones, age 55 of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, May 14, 2021. He was a highly decorated disabled Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of The Knoxville Church. He was born to Charles "Chuck" Jones and Betty Joan Wolfe Jones. He is preceded in death by both parents and sisters Robin Jones and Vicki Norton. Shawn is survived by four daughters, Lauren McConkey and husband, Kevin McConkey, Robin Jones, Chelsea Jones and Brandy Moore. 5 Granddaughters Skylar Jones, Whitley Wooden,Carter Wooden, Bailey Wooden and Gracyn Johnson. Brothers and sisters, Chuck Jones, Brad Jones, Ruth Beatty, Brenda Brissette, Bonnie Jones. Several nieces and nephews. A special friend Sherwanna Kirkpatrick, and her children, Bel'Lanie, Solaihe, and Amore Eddins. He will be laid to rest at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville,TN 37920. Condolences can be made at Companion Funeral & Cremation of Athens.
