Sharon Lou Gooden

Sharon Lou Gooden, 61, of Graysville, TN passed away on October 2, 2016. She was born on January 23, 1955 to the late Robert and Frances Mooneyhan. Sharon was a lifelong resident of this area and of the Church of God Faith. She was a retired CNA from Life Care Centers of America, serving for more than 20 years. She loved flowers and working in her garden, as well as sewing and talking on the phone.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her brother Charles Mooneyhan and sister Jean Whitaker.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Shane Deal (Jonie); daughter Tammy Ables; brothers Donald Mooneyhan and David Mooneyhan; sisters Linda Snodgrass, Bettie Howard, Deborah Kellar, and Kathy Harris; grandchildren Ashley Wilson, Alexandria Harris, Aimee Ables, Dakota Deal, and Hunter Deal; great grandchildren: Kalie Wilson, Abella Wilson, Adamlee Harris, Kambree Chavez, and Conner Wilson. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00pm on Wednesday October 5, 2016 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Rev. Leroy Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.
