Samuel Edward "Eddie" Moore

Samuel Edward “Eddie” Moore, 67, of Cleveland, TN passed away on March 11, 2016. He was born on April 19, 1948 to the late Charles Lee and Lela Belle Moore. Eddie was a Veteran of the Marines and United States Army, serving a total of nine years. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, drawing, and was an avid music and movie lover. Above all things, Eddie was a family man and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by a special aunt Velma Weaver; grandparents: Hershel and Nannie Elizabeth Cole Vaughn and A.E. and Janie Shannon Moore. He leaves behind to cherish his memory daughter Kelly Overby (Jeff); sons: Charles E. Moore (Stacy) and Jason Anthony Taylor Moore; brother Charles Moore (Peggy); sister Christine Holt (John); a cousin who was like a brother Bob Weaver; grandchildren: Tori Overby, Corbin Overby, Regan Michelle Moore, and Riley Elizabeth Moore; nieces: Christine Moore, Ellen Stacie Grady, Leigh Casey Summer, Mary Courtney Dahlrymple; nephews: James Thomas Holt and John Archer Holt Jr. In addition to these he leaves behind several extended family members and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday March 15th 2016 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until the 2:30pm service time on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Ocoee, TN with Randy Fox, Charlie McKenzie, Tom Crye, Tim Dukes, Warren Lawson, and Jeff Overby serving as pallbearers.
