Samuel D. Swaggerty

Samuel Doyle Swaggerty, 72, lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away September 6, 2022, at his residence. Born November 10, 1949, to the late Della Hayes Swaggerty and Daniel W. Swaggerty and of the Christian faith. He loved rides in the mountains, watching westerns, animal lover, kindhearted, stubborn, God-fearing man.

In addition to his parents, Samuel is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Faye Craig Swaggerty.

Survived by his loving daughters, Deborah Swaggerty, Rhonda Munoz, Teresa Bowerman, Shirley Davis, and Sandra Davila; siblings, Jean Mullinax, of Ooltewah, TN and Christine Swaggerty, of Cleveland, TN; 13 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; most beloved companion, his dog Rocky; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Companion Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Fort Hill Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, the family ask hat donations to be made to the Cleveland Animal Shelter.
