Ronnie Leon Gentry

It is of great sadness the family announce the passing of Ronnie Leon Gentry, age 85, of Ocoee, Saturday morning, June 20, 2020 at his residence surrounded with love.
Ronnie was a quiet and gentle man who was dearly loved by all who knew him. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation where he worked as an Asphalt Engineer for over 40 years.
He was born November 04, 1934, the son of the late Taylor and Beulah Gentry.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife and best friend of 60 years, Betty Cook Gentry; sister, Elaine Gentry (Frank) Mason; four children, Ronnie T (Judy) Gentry, Troy (Temple) Gentry, Sonya (Charles) Mitchell and Sherrie (Donald) Sliger; 8 grandchildren; 7 grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family will hold a private memorial service. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later time.
