Ronnie L. Parker

Ronnie L. Parker, May 24, 1942 to December 16, 2021.
A lifelong resident of Bradley County, he graduated from Bradley Central High School. Ronnie worked at Cooke’s Food Store and Collins Manufacturing before going into business for himself, The Lawn Company for 47 years, working a long side his son, Greg.
He was known for his exceptional yard work and vegetable and flower gardens. His love of sports began at an early age and continued to his death. GO Yankees! Ronnie was a faithful member of Philippi Baptist Church for 33 years. A staple in the community and family, his quick wit and laughter will be missed by many.
Ronnie is preceded in death by the love of his life for 56 years Mary Parker, his mother Edna Beaty Parker, his dad and mom Aud and Lela Ruth Parker, brothers David and Danny Parker. Those left behind to cherish his memory is his daughters; Greta Parker, Lynne Cline (Scott) and son, Greg Parker (Jennifer), granddaughters; Delaney Cline, Annalee Cline, Kaylee Parker and Kyndal Parker, his great grandson Hayes Cline, the joy and highlight of his life and ours, brother, Dennis Parker (Janis), sisters; Wilma Parker and Aulma Parker, nieces; Stephanie Parker, Audrey Parker and Aubrey Lee, sisters in law; Lorene Swafford (Edgar), Dorothy Williamson (Bill), Wanda Susie Hall, Kathy McGill, brother in law W.L. McGill (Charlotte).
The Celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held at Philippi Baptist Church, 2484 Harrison Pike, Cleveland TN 37311 on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 8:00 pm with the Rev. Sammy Hooker and Rev. Nathan Sneed to officiate. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 4:00-8:00 pm. Interment will be held, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, meet at Philippi Baptist Church at 3:00 pm to go in funeral procession to Mount Olive Cemetery with Eric Parker, Mitchell Parker, Dee Parker, Chris Parker, Michael Williamson, Christian Parker, Cole Parker, Caleb Parker and Andrew Parker serving as pallbearers. Special thanks to Dorothy Williamson for her wisdom, love and care shown to our family, Samara Lanning of Hearth Hospice and our friends, family and neighbors for their visits and support.
