Ronda Lynn Womble

Obituary

Ronda Lynn Womble, 56, died peacefully on January 9, 2015 at home with her family by her side. Ronda was born on May 17, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio & graduated from Northmont High school in 1976. In 1984 she moved to Chattanooga, TN & shortly after married Richard K. Womble of Paducah, Ky in 1985. Ronda was a loving, devoted, hard-working mother & wife. She was employed at Unum for over 30 years where she worked in the purchasing department. She was very passionate about animals & often volunteered at the McKamey Animal Center. She was an amazing woman with an even more amazing heart. She will be missed dearly.

Ronda is survived by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Oaks of Dayton, OH & Beverly Bowman of Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Womble is also survived by her husband Richard, daughter Erin, son Ryan, sisters Lori Elkey & Jill Oaks as well as many other cherished relatives in Tennessee, Ohio, Kentucky & Florida.

Family & friends will be received from 7pm-9pm on January 12, 2015 @ Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tennessee. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ronda’s honor to McKamey Animal Center, 4500 North Access Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37415, 423.305.6507.
