Rodney Lamar Wilson

Rodney Lamar Wilson, 51, of Cleveland, TN passed away on July 5, 2016. He was born on December 17, 1964 to Clarence and Evelyn Wilson. Rodney was a lifelong resident of this area and loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also faithfully attended Hopewell Baptist Church. He worked with his dad as a plumber and also spent time working at M&M Mars.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Wilson; brother Gary Wilson and grandparents Claude and Rose Marshall and Doc and Arbie Wilson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Evelyn Wilson, brother Ricky Wilson (Janie); sister Debbie Eldredge (Ed) and Lisa Garr (Tim). In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday July 8, 2016 at Hopewell Baptist Church located at 188 Old Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37312 with Rev. Ed Eldredge officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday July 7, 2016. Interment will follow the service on Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
