Robert Stanley Evans

Robert Stanley Evans passed away November 22, 2020, at the age of 71. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and a resident of Ooltewah, Tennessee. Mr. Evans retired from O’Reilly Auto Parts in October 2017. He was a lifelong NASCAR fan. Mr. Evans is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Nellie Evans; mother, Cecil Gordy; and brother, Joseph “Ray” Patterson. Mr. Evans is survived by his children, Sabrina (Randy) Winship of Ooltewah, Tennessee and Joseph Evans (Misty Miller) of Dunlap, Tennessee; grandchildren, Bella Winship and Breanna Evans; siblings Tina Marie (late Billy) Stokes, Clara Anderson, and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are with Companion Funeral Home at 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, Tennessee. Family will receive family and friends at Companion from 4 pm to 8 pm EST, Tuesday, November, 24, 2020, and Wednesday, November 25, 2020, preceding the service from 9 am -11 am EST. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00AM in the chapel. Burial will follow service at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the ALS Association.
