Obituary

Richard Allen Brown, 53, a longtime resident of Georgetown went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 1st, 2014. Richard was born in Cleveland on May 18th, 1961. He was of the Baptist faith. Richard worked at Watson’s Tip Top, Cleveland Chair Company, Horizon Square Apartments and lastly at Clayton Homes. He loved his family and spending time with them.

Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of thirty four years Sharon Grissom Brown, two daughters Daisy Brown and Lily Brown, one grandson Paxton Brown, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for Wednesday night, November 5th, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road with the Reverend David Evans and Scottie Lyle officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service at the funeral home.

The graveside committal and interment service will take place on Thursday, November 6th, 2014 at 12:00 PM in the Johnston Cemetery in Georgetown, TN with Michael Green, Eddie Joe Lyle, Shane Lyle, Gaige Lyle, Russell Grissom, Dewayne Murphy and Dale Moore serving and pallbearers.
