Obituary

Rebecca Becky Hamilton, 74, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Tuesday afternoon, June 9th, 2015 at her home. She was born March 6th, 1941 a daughter of the late Lawrence & Martha Pirkle. Becky was a gifted ballet and dance teacher in this area for thirty plus years. She shared her talent for dance with many young people throughout her career.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother Joe Pirkle.

Becky leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters Lori Boring(Greg), Dawn McLemore (Kirk) and Alison Nieto (Andy), six grandchildren Will Rice (Shannon), Ben Rice, Audrey McLemore, Wade McLemore, Chloe Howell and Abby Howell, one sister Anne Bolen of Knoxville, TN, two brothers David Pirkle (Jane) and Tommy Pirkle (Karen), the father of her children Loye Hamilton, numerous other extended family member, former students and a host of special friends.

A memorial celebration of her life is planned for Thursday night, June 11th, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Beckys memory.
