Phyllis Jean Freiermuth

July 26, 1930 — December 30, 2019

Phyllis Jean Freiermuth, 89, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Legacy Village in Cleveland, TN. She was born in Memphis, TN in 1930 where she lived for many years with her husband and three daughters. Phyllis was employed at the Advertising Checking Bureau where she was a personnel secretary.
She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church and served on the Friends of the Library Association at the Cleveland Public Library. Phyllis was an avid gardener and other hobbies included reading, cooking, sewing and going to yard sales. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Albert Freiermuth and parents Charles Sinkey and Willie Davis.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her three daughters Laurel Haas (Bill), Paula Peterson (Blake) and Carol Hoops (Mike); her seven grandchildren whom she loved dearly and many other family members.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 2-4pm at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (http://www.alzfdn.org/).
