Peggy Flowers

August 16, 1950 — October 20, 2021

Peggy Flowers passed away Wednesday, October 20, at her home.
Peggy was a friend to everyone she met and leaves behind many friends to cherish her memory. She was always at her happiest when she was helping others; all it took was a phone call to put her into action. She was our Mom and Nanny, but many of our friends considered her to be a second Mom and she was Nanny Peggy to many.
She loved going to yard sales, collecting antique glassware and crafting. There are many Christmas trees in the are that sparkle with her ornaments. She worked for many years at Bradley Memorial Hospital and was a long-time member at East Side Church of Christ.
Proceeding her in death was the love of her life; her husband of 53 years, Gene Flowers. They were only separated eight months, but what a reunion that must have been! Also proceeding her were her parents Bill and Nell Bryant; in-laws Linville and Louise Flowers; brothers Bill Bryant Jr., John Bryant, and Joel Bryant; and brother-in-law Steve Wilson.
Peggy is survived by her children Gina Flowers Lindsay (Kip), Renaugia Flowers Allmon (Jimmy), and Seth Flowers (Nicole). She was the very devoted Nanny to Cole Flowers (Sevrynn), Zoie Flowers (Connor), and Silas Allmon; great grandsons Waylon Flowers and Everhett Hampton and Maggie (bonus granddaughter) completed her Nanny heart. She is also survived by her sister and friend Jayne Wilson, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of South Carolina cousins.
