Paul Joseph Koonce, 40, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Thursday, May 14th, 2015 at Starr Regional Hospital in Athens. Paul was born on February 22nd, 1975 in Hammond, IN a son of the late Harry Koonce. He was a member of the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church in Athens. Paul was a recycling hobbyist who enjoyed taking care of his environment. He also was an avid animal enthusiast and enjoyed working is his yard.

In addition to his father, Paul is also preceded in death by on sister Michelle Koonce.

Paul leaves behind to cherish is memory his mother Judy Pennington Koonce, one brother Harry Edward Koonce II, one uncle Chuck Pennington, several aunts, one niece Amber Jones, two nephews Harry Koonce III and Jeremiah Paul Koonce, one great nephew Isaiah, very close friends Andy Wallace and Krystal Taylor, numerous other extend family members and a host of special friends.
