Normaline Brewer Blackmon

Normaline (Norma) Brewer Blackmon - age 94 of Knoxville passed away January 11, 2022 at Signature of Cleveland. She was a member of the Second United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tn. for 65 years. Norma was a member of the Home Builders Class at church. She graduated from Central High School in 1946. Norma retired from BellSouth
after 34 1/2 years. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 466.
Norma is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Edward Blackmon, Sr. of 56 years; parents Walter Franklin Brewer and Nannie Sampson Brewer; Brother Douglas Brewer; and great grandson Nolan Russell Blackmon.

She is survived by : Charles Edward Blackmon, Jr. (son) and Cindy Blackmon (daughter -in-law); Grandson Russell McClain Blackmon and his wife Cody; Grandson Bryant Charles Blackmon and his wife Meghan. Norma had six great grandchildren: Nolan Russell Blackmon (deceased), Reed Blackmon, Nathan Blackmon, Palmer Blackmon, August Blackmon, and Caroline Blackmon. She is also survived by her brother Donald Brewer and his wife Barbara; Mrs. Celia Brewer, sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held January 14, 2022 at 1:00 at Lynnhurst Cemetery; 2300 Adair Drive; Knoxville, Tennessee 37918.

The family would like to thank Signature of Cleveland for their special care they provided Norma. Also, thank you to Companion Funeral Services for the compassion and care they provided to the family.
