Nelda Draughon Lunn

Nelda Draughon Lunn, 67, resident of Atlanta, previously Chattanooga and Kansas City, received her Heavenly reward September 2, 2021.

Nelda was born in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Louise and Billy Draughon.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University and an advanced transportation certification from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Nelda’s career spanned her own business and various Logistic Specialist positions.

Nelda was a true delight to all that knew her, and one of the most positive people known. No matter what cards she was dealt, she went at life full speed. Never expecting anything in return, Nelda gave her love, assistance, and time to any who needed her. Nelda cherished adventures with Alexander and Hannah, spoiling Granddog Cooper, family time, traveling, and Words with Friends. Nelda will forever live in our hearts and memories. Greatly missed. Always loved.

She is survived by the lights of her life, son Alexander Lunn and his girlfriend, Hannah Williams. Also, sister Wanda Draughon Zvanut (Bill), brother Ronnie Draughon (Lynne), Bonus Mom Ruth Draughon, Aunts Betty Jean Johnson, Martha Peavy, Helen Gimzek, nephews, nieces, great nieces and several cousins.

Celebration of Life is 5:30 – 7:30, Saturday, September 11, Atlanta. Honoring Nelda’s concern of COVID, all guests must be vaccinated. Masks provided.
