Nancy Elizabeth Tasker

We are born into this world naked and innocent, live life's trials and tribulations, and in death embraced by grace we return to innocence. -BT

On September 8, 2022,  Nancy Elizabeth Tasker (nee Guthrie), passed away. Born in Etobicoke, Toronto, Canada on June 17, 1944, to Orson & Dorothy Guthrie. A proud Canadian, she grew up in Toronto and married, raising three children on a modest dairy, pork, & beef farm outside London. Nancy's greater self was reflected well in her ability to make a beautiful home, being a great cook and host, and a supportive spouse. Along with her great love for dogs was her love of her family, a view that she loved unconditionally. 

She is preceded in death by her loving brother Gary; first born, Barron; and daughter, Dianne. She is survived by two loving granddaughters and a devoted son.

On behalf of her family, we express heartfelt appreciation & gratitude to ALL the care providers at Standifer Health Care Center, as well as Hospice of Chattanooga, who saw that my mother lived with dignity. Thank you to all of those people who saw to her needs throughout the day and every day for two and a half years. Especially, under the immense distress of a world pandemic.
