Michael Earl "Doc" Anderson

Michael Earl “Doc” Anderson passed away at his home on December 7th, 2020 in Cleveland, TN. Michael was born on June 1, 1964 in Atlanta, GA. He was often referred to as “Doc” by his family and friends and had a giving heart of gold. He enjoyed fishing, building things with his own hands, taking care of his farm animals, but more than anything he loved spending time with his grandchildren and was overjoyed with excitement waiting for the arrival of his new granddaughter, Mallory.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Earl Anderson; grandparents, Frank (Ethel) Anderson and Leonard (Geneva) Wise.

Michael leaves behind to treasure his memory his mother, Wanda Ann Anderson, whom he lovingly took care of; his daughter, Megan Anderson; grandchildren, Matty, Maverick, and due to arrive, Mallory, all of Cleveland; his son and daughter-in-law, Dakota and Sarah Anderson of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Austin and Katie McCann of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Donna Anderson and niece, Bella Anderson all of Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Michael Townsend, and nieces Hannah, Abigail, and Chloe Townsend all of Sweetwater, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Olivia Anderson and Will Chambers, and special nephews and wives, Evan and Kailyn Anderson Millsaps and Ethan and Katie Millsaps of Cleveland, TN. He loved spending time with them going places or just being together.

Funeral arrangements have been tentatively scheduled for December 18, 2020 for visitation and December 19, 2020 for services. Times will be announced at a later date by Companion Funeral Home. Officiating the services will be Michael’s brother-in-law, Michael Townsend. Being honored as pallbearers will be Patrick Anderson, Will Chambers, Evan Anderson Millsaps, Ethan Millsaps, Dakota Anderson, and Austin McCann.
