Melba Dean Loftis

Melba Dean Loftis went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2019, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Melba was an amazing woman that was loved by many. She gave her all to her family and to her friends that she loved deeply. She is preceded in death by her partner Skip Partridge, (Father) Arthur J. Sharp Sr., (Mother) Rexie Sharp and her bother A.J. Sharp. She is survived by four sisters; daughters, Susan (Bobby) Pickle, Tina (Barry) Horn and Carla (Mark) Bledsoe; son Fred Carpenter Jr.; grandchildren Brandy (James) Freeman, Tiffany (Michael) Grider, Trae (Micki) Carpenter, Hunter Pickle, Madison Bledsoe, Gracee Bledsoe, and Brooklyn Lundholm. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday November 10, 2019 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at Signal Mountain Church of God. The service will begin at 4:30PM. In lieu of flowers we ask you to please donate to the American Lung association in honor of her.
