Mary Parritt

Obituary
Mary Parritt was born in McHenry, Kentucky on August 17, 1921. She entered Heavens gates on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. She was 93 years old. She has been a resident of Cleveland for the past four years and a resident of Sodus, Michigan previously.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had an unwavering faith in God and was very involved in the Safe Harbor Church of God of Prophecy in Sodus, Michigan, where she was a charter member.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mattie Ward; loving husband, Glenn Parritt; three sisters and four brothers; son-in-law, Dan Kurbis; great-grandchild , Heather Bozwell and great great-grandchild, Chloe Shelton. She is survived by daughter, Connie Kurbis; daughter, Sheena Newman and her husband Dennis, all of Cleveland, Tennessee and son, Ken Parritt and his wife, Jeni of Niles, Michigan.

Mary is also survived by grandchildren, Danette McDonald, DeAnna Hanson, Christy Williams and Brooke Gasper of Cleveland, Tennessee; Kim Bozwell and Kevin Parritt from Berrien Springs, Michigan. She was grandmother to six great- grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 10:00-12:00 at Keith Street Church of God of Prophecy. The funeral will follow at 12:00 p.m.

A memorial service will also be held at the Safe Harbor Church of God Of Prophecy in Sodus, Michigan on Monday, May 11, 2015. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:00. Funeral will follow visitation at 3:00. Graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sodus, Michigan after the funeral.
