Mary Jane Pirkle

Mary Jane Pirkle, 67, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 31, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 6, 1948 to the late Robert and Myrtle Lawson. Jane was an avid sports fan, always supporting her family at softball games and many other sporting events. She also loved to cook, but most of all her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by one sister Wilma Williams and son in law Ron Parker Jr.
Jane leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years, David Pirkle; three daughters: Carolinda Burns (Crawford), Deleana Parker Clayton (Brent), and DeVette Carter; sister Brenda Wilkinson (Mike); grandchildren: Brandon Burns, Brette Schroll (Chris), Jacora Parker, Clint Clayton, Brae Clayton, and Cailyn Carter. In addition to these, she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday February 2, 2016 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
A family interment will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday February 3, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
