Martha Lindner

Martha Nell Lindner, age 83, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at a local health care facility. Martha was born and raised in Greasy Creek. She retired from galaxy Carpet, but most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, great=grandmother, and friend. Martha was a very independent woman, who was always putting people first.
Martha is preceded in death by two children, Valerie Waldroup, Stephanie Scott; three siblings, Helen Smith, Julia Allison, and Noah Ramsey, and her mother and father Carmack and Lena Ramsey.
Left to cherish her memory are five grandchildren, Dania Waldroup, Brad Waldroup, Kevin Stephens, Kara Stephens, and Kamren Scott. Also her great grandchildren Katelyn Stephens, Valerie Waldroup, Tori Stephens, Daelyn Waldroup, Chelsea Waldroup, Kyler Hood, Ashley Waldroup, Elijah Waldroup, Emily Waldroup, Alexander Waldroup, Keely Stephens, and Marianna Waldroup. She is also survived by her great great grandchildren Julie Stephens and Kaden Wampler.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 Saturday prior to the service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
