Mark Macon

April 10, 1963 — June 28, 2016

Mark Macon was born on April 10, 1963 in Bryn Mawr, Pennslyvania to Rodney and Joyce Macon.
He served 16 years in the Army National Guard where he reached the rank of Sargeant. He served two tours of duty with the Red Dogseven platoon during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was injured and honorably discharged.
He is survived by his children Jenna Woody and her husband Shawn; John Mark Macon; Joey Macon, his wife Sarah and grandson Kai; Robert Kelly; Alannah Macon and grandson Kayden; his girlfriend of 12 years Jennifer Earls; brother James Macon and his wife Cheryl; and several nieces and nephews.
During his lifetime he touched the lives of many people who became what he considered his extended family. He became a role model and father figure to many and a loving confidant to his children.

The remembrance of life will be held on July 2, 2016 at his home located at 5961 Spring Place Road at 6:00pm.
