Lona Louise Mewborn

Lona Louise Mewborn, 83, of McDonald, TN passed away on August 4, 2020. She was born on March 13, 1937 to the late Victor and Christine Holdiman. Louise was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Ooltewah, TN. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, collecting hats, and going to festivals. She will be remembered as a “sophisticated woman.” Above all she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her mom and dad, she is preceded in death by her brothers Billy and Albert and sister Marie.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Donnie, Mary Faye, Eugene, Raymond, Elizabeth, Tony, Alex and Jimmy; sisters: June and Emma. In addition to these she leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:00pm on Sunday August 9, 2020 at Companion Funeral Home with a celebration of life service to be held at 1:00pm.
