Lester Hudgins

Lester Hudgins, 75, passed on into eternal life on March 14, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was the beloved husband of Donna Hudgins, who survives him.
Lester was a faithful member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church. He was retired from Bi-Lo where he was a meat cutter for 42 years.
He was preceded in death by father and mother, Herman and Louise Hudgins, and sisters, Irene Myers, Virginia Davis, Shirley Hackney and Ruby Givens.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Donna, sons, Shawn Hudgins and wife Cindy of Orlando, FL, Jody Givens and wife Crystal Givens of Memphis, daughters Lisa Perry and husband Jack and Nancy Ellis and husband Steve, all of Cleveland. Grandchildren, Amy Wilhoit and husband Jeff, Lauren Hughes and husband David, Tyler Hudgins, Jacob Ellis and Nathan Hudgins, Tristan Givens, Hailey Givens and Jordan Givens, and great-granddaughters, Ava and Hadlee Wilhoit, great-grandson, Henry Hughes; sister, Margaret Thompson; mother in law Elizabeth Kligerman, and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held.
As an expression of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations in Lester’s name may be given to the Samples Memorial Baptist Church building fund.
